- At the Rite of Election on Feb. 21, 11 adults and 21 children became members of the Elect which means that they will be fully initiated at this year's Easter Vigil (Saturday, April 3, 2010.) Please keep them in your prayers!
- At the Presentation of the Creed on Feb. 27, a beautiful parchment copy of the Nicene Creed (Council of Nicaea-325 AD) was presented to all of the Elect by their sponsors.
- On Saturday evening, April 3rd, the elect were received into full communion with the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil Mass. Please welcome them when you see them, they will be especially easy to spot in the next 50 days of the Easter Season as they will be wearing their white and red robes at Mass :) Please keep them in your prayers!
RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA)
This ministry prepares adults to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist, thereby becoming fully initiated Catholics. Eligible are those who have never been baptized, baptized in another denomination, or baptized Catholic, but never catechized.

CHRISTIAN INITATION OF CHILDREN (CIC)
This ministry prepares people ages 7 - 17 to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist, thereby becoming fully initiated Catholics. Eligible are those who have never been baptized, baptized in another denomination, or baptized Catholic, but never catechized. The CIC program is family-centered and multi-age with parents attending all classes with their children.
