October 7th is the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.
The Legion of Mary started off the month of October, which is the month of the Holy Rosary, with a beautiful display honoring the Blessed Mother and the Holy Rosary. Following the celebration of the Mass, a continental breakfast for the clergy and parishioners was sponsored by the Legion of Mary.
The flower arrangement honors the prayers of the Holy Rosary. At the base of the display, the number of flower bouquets matches the number of the mysteries of the Rosary. There are 53 candles representing 53 Hail Mary prayers and the taller bouquet in the middle represents the Our Father prayer.
The display will remain in the church for the entire month of October for veneration by the faithful.
